* Easter opening hours *

We will be closing a little earlier on Good Friday at 5:30pm and we will be closed all day on Easter Monday. If you have an emergency over the weekend please call the usual number on 01290 420255 and you will be put through to our on call vet. 

* Attention fish owners! *

We're aware that Scottish Water are making some changes to the way that tap water is treated in Ayrshire. Fish owners *must* now treat tap water before using it. Please seek advice from the supplier of your tank/filters. More information here:…/chloram_leaflet_aquatic.pdf

* Cumnock Chronicle Feature *

Iain and Jo recently featured in the Cumnock Chronicle thanks to our client Marny Murphy. What's not mentioned in the article is that  Marny has been raising money for three animal charities, including our fund for lost and abandoned animals here at Crossriggs. She has worked tirelessly by selling knitted rabbits and other items to raise funds and awareness of these worthy causes. Thank you Marny! 

* FREE weight management clinics *

We are currentlyrunning free weight management clinics during for pets who need some encouragement with diet and exercise. These clinics are run by our nursing team who can give guidance about these and other issues. Please just call the surgery on 01290 420255 to book your appointment.

* Staff News * 

We were all so sad to say goodbye to Flavia, who is off to study for a PhD at Liverpool vet school. Congratulations to Flavia but we'll all miss you! 

Meanwhile, we are very fortunate to have Charlotte coming to help us out for a few weeks during our recruitment process. Charlotte hails from Aberdeenshire and graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2010. She now lives in Yorkshire with husband Steve and their lovely dog Islay. 

* Pet Health Club*

Our health plan covers all routine preventative care including vaccines, flea treatments and wormers and enables you to spread the cost of treatment throughout the year. You are also entitled to discounts on pet food and other great benefits.

* Puppy Party *

Puppy party is now on Wednesday evenings between 7 - 7:45pm. Puppies who have had their first vaccines and not yet been walked outside are welcome to come along for socialisation and guidance about feeding, worming, training etc. There is no charge to attend.

* Free nursing clinics *

Did you know that we offer several free nursing clinics?

- Adolescent clinic (for pups around six months old)
- Golden oldies (dogs over seven years and cats over nine)
- Plus puppy party and weight checks
